Steve has been a pastor at Arlington since July 1986.
He received his education through Atlantic Christian College, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and earned his doctorate from Gordan-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Steve has been married to his wife Janette since 1971. Janette is an elementary school counselor in Cabarrus County.
Steve and Janette have two daughters Kresha and Jordan. Kresha is married to Eric Waldrop, and they have two sons Hudson and Mitchell.
Jordan is in College.

Rick and his family have been at Arlington since 1997. He came on as full-time staff in the fall of 2001. Rick and his wife Tina have been married since March 1995 and have three boys. Zach is seven, Noah is four, and Jackson is one. Rick and Tina have worked with students since 1998. Rick attends UNCC as he is working on a second degree.
