Giving @ Arlington

The Bible says in Malachi 3:10, "Bring all the tithes (a tenth) into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do," says the Lord Almighty, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Let me prove it to you!"

Here at Arlington, giving ten percent of our income to God is just part of our worship of Him. It’s just like singing to God praises for what He has done, or listening to a message that is encouraging. Giving back to God is what it means to truly worship Him.

You may be asking, “Where does this money go?”
The funds that are given to Arlington Baptist Church serve to support the ministries and ministers that provide help to families inside and outside our church family and community.

God makes a promise that if we give to him ten percent of our income, he will bless our obedience. We encourage everyone (church members and guests of Arlington) to begin trusting God in this area of his or her life. This is one of the immediate ways that each of us can prove the existence of God right now! He will be true to His promises, take God at His word, give, and watch what happens in your life!
